A Little Progress

I got a bit done on my Triumph over Christmas but due to a lot of things , I haven`t been able to drag it outside and get a decent look .

The oil and petrol tanks are mounted solidly now , also the rear mudguard (sorry Richie - fe. .der)is mounted , had some help with this from Ritch at Charkys Chopshop.
You can`t see it , but under the tank , the frame is strengthened and braced and a bolt in toptube was made . Oh yeah , the seat is mounted and I trimmed the gearbox cover too.

Looking at the bike outside , I decided the light on the `fendguard` was just clutter and the sidemount I`d made stuck out too much . So , I quickly knocked up the smaller sidemount and also a bracket for one of the cocktail shakers.

The pics above are kind of in reverse order . I still think it needs a skinnier rear wheel but I have a few things in the pipeline on that front.

Old Stuff.

This is me circa nineteen eighty something.
I bought this scooter from Louis Wigget , who was in a garage band called Thee Wylde Things. The bike was a 150 Super and was utterly factory standard , this was almost unheard of amongst my circle of friends , I seem to remember having to fight the urge to Matt Black it .
I bought it to use while my P200E was off the road for me to respray it , at the time two wheeled transport was all I had.

How can one picture contain so much `cool`?
