New Highs in Low Fidelity
Just got back from our `Frat Cave` gig down at the Standard (see previous poster post ). Still trying to come down off the buzz , though I`m getting tired now . Really couldn`t be happier now we`ve got a settled line up , everyone seems to get it and enjoy doing it . Louis is down at the Brass Monkey tomorrow , his proper band , Admiral Cloudsley Shovell ,are supporting the Wet Nuns , who I suspect will be neither wet nor nuns .

Dr Who
Noodling around on the internet , I came across this article by the inimitable David Edwards...
http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2010/12/time-machine-triumph-when-trackmaster-met-tracy/
...great article , which touches on three of my favourite things ; Triumphs , Flatrackers and Chopper History , got me wondering whether these frames were some of the inspiration for the Motor Shop frames that came later ? Check out this article from 74s Forever and see what you think ....
http://74sforever.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/history-of-motor-shop-frame-bill-york.html
It`s probably easier to see in the `before`shot of the Triumph with the blue tank , the Trackmaster frame has the same curving downtube and Flat Track style Looptail , although I must say the Motor Shop style axle mounts inside the loop look neater .
Question ?
Why isn`t Greaser Mikes blog in the recommended reading list ?
Answer ~ `cos I`m a fuckwit (it`s in there now ) .
Now go and take a look at his sweet new Pre Unit.
