B F Tri

Whilst it won`t have been the flashest or most expensive bike at the Born Free show , this little Trump does it for me .
I think the small case unit bikes can look really good hardtailed , they`ve got a shorter wheelbase than a stock rigid pre unit frame , so they can take a small stretch without looking disproportionate . They also share a lot of cycle parts with the pre units , as they were produced side by side for 6 years .
Check out the Mag , mounted where the dizzy used to be .

Built in time for the 1972 Santa Pod Custom Show and still looking good 15 years later , in this magazine article . I wonder where this old warrior is now ?

1972 style

If you`ve got any interest in Triumph showbikes and blogs , you`ll be aware that Stretch`s `Nostalgia on Wheels` is up there with the best . I saw this scan Stretch posted of a bike at the 1972 Cycle World show . Hard to say for sure , but I think this has to be Charlie Siordia`s `Little One` showbike . I never get tired of looking at this one , so here`s a few more !
