Rod and Custom II

Another one from August 1960 Rod and Custom mag . This one`s a bit more flamboyant than the previous post , seaweed flames and Flanders bars and risers .

More Squariel Superbness

If you`ve had the misfortune to read this blog before , you may know that I have a thing for these Square Fours . I doubt I`ll ever own one , maybe I`ll do that thing I was thinking of with a plunger A10 ,maybe not, no harm in looking though.

Let`s Get Dirty(bobbers)

I`ve been looking here... http://www.dirtybobbers.co.uk/index.html ...a lot lately.Have to say , I find this place refreshing compared to certain other forums with a similar subject matter . Some cool bikes , a few four wheelers and a distinct UK flavour to proceedings.

Macias Triumph

I`m pretty sure this bike is an early 3TA . I love the twin carb set~ up and the little Cub tank . Anyone know any more about it?

Is it me.......

......or is this rider really small?

She says she got a cold,
When I wanna make love ,
She got female trouble,or that other thing women have in the month.`

Rod and Custom

I love the simplicity of this Trump from the August 1960 edition of Rod and Custom . Less is definitely more.
I`d guess the tank is a one off and it looks like it has stock size 19" wheels with maybe a skinnier 3" or 2.75" tyre on the front .
Although a lot of bikes from this era seem to have sidemount headlights with a Bates bracket , I really like the way the bottom mount looks with the fork covers .
